Holy Cross Child Placement Agency, Inc. is a fully licensed, non-profit child placement agency with offices in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Holy Cross was founded in 1984 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting, facilitating and encouraging the adoption of children by loving families. Created under the auspices of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Louisiana, the Agency operates as a non-sectarian agency and maintains the professional standards of the National Association of Social Workers, in compliance with the provisions of the Agency's charter. Sally Minshew, the executive director, has been instrumental in providing services for local, interstate and international adoptions for over 20 years.

Holy Cross has successfully expanded its services to include international programs in India and Russia as well as by establishing partnerships with other agencies that specialize in adoptions from Asia. Holy Cross provides home study and post placement services for families living in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia, and international services for families living in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
